Super Savings at Kroger!!!

I am posting this for moneysavingmom.com and to let everyone know about my super savings. Ok, so here's the deal right now at Kroger they have a sale going on where if you buy 10 (certain items) you get $5 taken off your purchase automatically at the check out. You can also use coupons on top of this. So here is what I did and what I got.

• 1-Kellogg's Special K cereal
• 2-Quaker chewy granola bars
• 1- Quaker granola snack bites
• 1-Kellogg's special K snack bars
• 1-Betty Crocker muffin mix
• 1-Betty Crocker sugar cookie mix
• 1-Goldfish crackers
• 1- baking soda (not included in Mega 10 event)
• 1-shout stain remover
• 2- Welches bottles of juice
• 1-Dole fruit parfaits
• 1-Scott Paper towels
• 1-Gallon of Milk (not included in the Mega 10 event, but one sale for $3 a gallon)
• 1-Pop tarts
• 3-Pillsbury cinnamon rolls
• 2-Hormel chilli
• 1-Newmans Own salad dressing
• 1-Glade candle
• 1-package of drinking straws (not included in mega 10 event, these were .25 in the Easter clearance)

I automatically got $10 off my transaction for having 20 items that qualified for the 10 Mega Event Get $5 back, then I knocked off $19.45 using Manufacturer coupons, Kroger knocked another $3.30 off in the fact that they double .50 coupons to a dollar and triple anything under .35, I also scanned my Kroger card saving another $14.47! Total savings $37.22. My Grand out of pocket total for my 24 items was $18.88!!!! I am so excited! I will be going back for some other items. I must say our pantry looks pretty good. I think this is the most I have ever saved on groceries!!
